Dr Yahaya Abdullah started practising multimedia even before the term came out! Exposed to computers at the tender age of 7, he is still very much involved 42 years later.

 Dr Yahaya’s professional experience stretches way back to 1994, where he started freelancing his skills in 3D animation and video, in the broadcasting industry. That was followed up with stints in various renowned companies, both local and overseas, being involved in many televised projects with major broadcast stations and production houses. A few years later, he branched out to the education sector, where he served in various higher learning institutions, and international schools, developing their education system and syllabus. All this accumulated to his crafting of their IGCSE, LAN and MQA groundwork, the basis of their courses and programs. He also developed mutual documents pertaining to the courses of RMIT Australia, to integrate their 3D animation syllabus to be used and taught there. In Malaysia, his work for the Government of Malaysia spans the Ministry of Higher Education, Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, MARA, RTM, IPPTAR, Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Human Resources.

 Training wise, he has written and developed PSMB approved courses and various short courses/workshops for 3D, Video, Animation and Multimedia. For the country, he has and is still developing Malaysia’s NOSS and OA documentation for national and international use, currently for APEC countries. On professional trainings done, he has conducted PSMB courses on design subjects for Kereta-api Tanah Melayu (KTM) Berhad, Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS), Pusat Latihan Pengajar & Kemahiran Lanjutan (CIAST), GIAT MARA, RTM, IPPTAR and many others. As for academic administration experience, he is now involved in the senior operation management, for the past few years, for various training centers and IPTS.

 Already renowned in the digital animation and broadcast industry, he is known internationally where his curriculum is adapted and used not only by local academic institutions, but also overseas universities. Thousands of students world-wide have been trained by him, winning international competitions and producing world class content.
